Conor McAnespie

Regional Sales Manager, Hanna Instruments

Conor started with Hanna Instruments in 2016, right out of college. Through these past six years, he has gained experience through helping his customers solve their unique challenges in various industries such as metal finishing, food manufacturing and water treatment. He believes in developing and nurturing authentic relationships to truly understand customer goals and expectations and to be a key part of their team. His drive and motivation is evidenced by his consistent history of exceeding customer expectations. Conor brings his experience working in the previously mentioned industries and his customer-centric values to his role as Northeast sales regional manager.

Presenter 2:

Adam Blakely

Director of Technical Services, MacDermid Enthone

Adam Blakely is the director of technical services for the Eastern region with MacDermid Enthone and has received both his CEF (certified electrofinisher) and MSF (master surface finisher) certifications through the NASF. He is the technical educational director for the NASF Palmetto branch and is a member of the technical advisory committee (TAC), which is involved in hosting and choosing the presentations given during SUR/FIN. He has written over a dozen articles for STERC (Surface Technology Environmental Resource Center), Finishing and Coating magazine and Products Finishing magazine, which have been features in SFEA (Surface Finishers Educational Association) events out of California, FFC (Florida Finisher's Corps), MFR Tech out of Lexington, Kentucky, and on other sites for technological universities in places like Malaysia. He's been a featured guest lecturer at Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, for a professional writing course and is the vice president of the AESF Trustee Foundation.

Matthew Akin

President, TrueLogic Company LLC

Matt Akin has held the role of managing TrueLogic Company LLC since its creation in 1996 and was instrumental in their 2001 acquisition of the TrueChem chemical analysis and statistical control software system. Since TrueChem Windows was introduced in mid-2001, Mr. Akin has continued to serve as TrueLogic's president, managing daily operations as well as sales and marketing activities for TrueChem. Prior to 1996, Mr. Akin established and managed an exploration team of engineers, geologists, geophysicists, landmen and support staff that was responsible for offshore projects in the Gulf of Mexico. He also held several petroleum land management positions after receiving his bachelor's degree in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin in 1980.
