The January Gardner Business Index (GBI) continues its upward momentum reaching 48.3, marking a 1.8 increase over last month.
- New orders lead by rebounding 2.6 points from December followed by production at 2.4 points.
- Backlog levels and exports showed gains over 1 point.
- Supplier deliveries remained mostly stable.
Future business expectations (not included in the overall index calculation) continue to indicate stronger optimism for the upcoming months.
